We are embarking on a significant campaign to renovate a home for Houston Hospice Society. It will serve as the heart of our operations, enabling us to extend compassionate care and support to terminally ill individuals and their families in our community.
“It impacts you directly at home when you are faced with the end of life journey”
Help us with our vision
of creating a cozy
Home 4 Hospice

It Takes A Community to be Able to Die At Home!
Learn about Hospice’s impact in the community and how your efforts can increase that impact.
To permanently bring our office and all our equipment under one roof in a “Home 4 Hospice”.
To purchase our own house, so we never have to move again. (Which we did on Aug 7th, 2024).
To reach out to the community to ask for help to support our vision by securing funds to cover the costs of renovations to make it suitable for our needs.
To purchase a van for delivering our equipment. (Our most requested equipment is our hospital beds. They are heavy and awkward to move and often moved in our volunteer’s vehicles).
To secure funding for 2 part-time employees—an admin assistant and a community connector.
To secure funding for training, conferences and new equipment.
To improve community engagement and awareness of the work of Houston Hospice Society.
Our Vision
Our Long Term Goals
To create a cozy, welcoming atmosphere in our new location. This older home we purchased (1957) requires substantial updates and renovations.
To convert the carport and shed into a space to store our 75+ large and small equipment.
To turn one of the rooms into our office space.
To replace the roof, windows, doors, kitchen, bathroom, renovate 2 entrances, and add an accessibility ramp.
To renovate 2 rooms that can be used for various purposes. (E.g. A space for families to stay while attending to loved ones at the end of life).
To convert the living room into a meeting room/common area.
To landscape the yard to be a warm, welcoming space with benches and flower gardens.
We are going to need the Community
